About Us

Mission

The Ontario Military Vehicle Association (O.M.V.A.) was formed  to keep alive the spirit of Canadian military vehicles and their place in history. Our members come from varied walks of life and collect military vehicles from around the World. Members of the Association strive to preserve the vehicles which played vital roles in various militaries throughout the 20th century.

History

The O.M.V.A. was founded in 1986 with five members, with vehicle shows in Georgetown, Ontario.

The Association soon outgrew their facilities  and after a few years of trying different locations, the Association settled in the Milton Fairgrounds in 1989. This marked the official formation of the the O.M.V.A. and it has hosted shows annually since that time.

The show at the Milton Fair Grounds continued until 1995. At that point, the Ferret Club became involved and the show was moved to the Oshawa Airport . A Winter Swap Meet was also added.

The O.M.V.A. is now proud to have over 230 members in North America & Europe.
