The
O.M.V.A. Annual Show offers the public an opportunity to explore
military vehicles from nations around the world, including armoured
vehicles such as tanks and armoured personnel carriers.
The first
show in 1986 was located at the Georgetown Fairgrounds but was moved
two years later to the Taras H. Shevchenko Museum & Memorial Park.
The show moved again a year later to the Milton Fairgrounds in 1989.
In 1995,
the show again moved, this time to the Oshawa Airport, in
association with the Ferret Club, where it has been ever since.

Visitors
are always encouraged to bring military vehicles as well as
questions and enthusiasm with them to our shows.
A broad
selection of vendors travel from all parts of the United States and
Canada to offer a selection of parts, memorabilia and accessories
for military vehicles.
Vehicles
are almost always available for sale at this show. The museum is
proud to offer a collection of over 80 running vehicles and has the
largest collection of armoured vehicles in Canada.
During the
Second World War, a secret installation called "Camp-X" was located
in South Oshawa. O.S.S. (Office of Strategic Services) agents from
England and Canada were trained there.
As a point
of interest Sir Ian Flemming, the author of the James Bond Series,
was trained at Camp-X. Also at the South Field entrance is a display
of Camp-X history, memorabilia and aviation equipment.
If you are
a military vendor or collector and would like more information about
having a table at the show, please contact
