May 26, 2012	GEORGINA Ontario	The Royal Canadian Dragoons, the most senior cavalry regiment in Canada, will make their first appearance at the 4th annual Military Day with their 'Coyote' display and five live bands will rock and rally to support our troops. Georgina Salutes III again joins forces with Military Day on Saturday May 26th at the Georgina Military Museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the museum grounds at 26061 Woodbine Avenue in Keswick.

September 29, 2012	MISSISSAUGA Ontario	Please circulate this information to OMVA guys who may want to bring a vehicle, or even just attend. This year's Doors Open event at the Small Arms site in Long Branch will take place on Saturday, September 29, from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Dixie Road & Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga Last year's opening was a great success. We had re-encators dressed as members of the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion, the FSSF, and the US 101st Airborne. Because of advance publicity in the local media we attracted over 1300 visitors in just six hours. This was more than three times the count at the second most popular Doors Open location in Mississauga. We have already signed up the re-enactors for this year, only in larger numbers, and we're talking to the Ontario Regiment Museum in Oshawa about having Bart, their M4 Sherman, attend. I'm confident that if we can arrange for the Sherman to be there the media will definitely pay attention, which would be good for the Small Arms site, the Ontario Regiment Museum, and the OMVA.
